The South Walker Elementary School was completed for the 1999-2000 school year. The metal roof system originally constructed experienced multiple roof leaks from initial occupancy. Ziler Architects was retained to design a retrofit roof and correct the previous roofing deficiencies. The retrofit roof system was completed within the allotted time allowed and was within the original budget.
