The Lafayette Christian Academy expansion program included the purchase of an adjacent multi-purpose building for renovation. The building was converted into a gymnasium with both boys and girls locker, weight rooms, coach's offices and concession area. The new gymnasium seats over 500 for basketball and volleyball events. The Lafayette Christian Academy expansion program also included the addition of a new cafeteria building to serve the entire campus. The new cafeteria includes a state of the art kitchen, dining hall with 400 seats, outdoor commons area, and student restrooms. The building also accommodates the campus's after school care, as well as social events for The Family Church. The Lafayette Christian Academy High School program included renovations to the interiors to provide for the growth of the high school curriculum serving 280 students. The exterior was renovated to emulate the Sportsplex and the church buildings.
